Daithí Kearney

The dripping tap
A slowed down clock
Drilling an altered sense
Of time into my head

The floor my bed
Grounding me
As sparks flicker
From circuits in my head

Darkness drowns
Abeyant fires but
Embers light
Determined dreams

Restless I wander
Without moving
To find my way
Home in my head
